Welcome
to the Arizona Orthopaedic Society's website. We are pleased to
provide this information as a service to the public and to the
orthopaedic community.
About
the Organization - The Arizona Orthopaedic Society is a non-profit
organization composed of approximately 270 and growing orthopaedic surgeons in
the state of Arizona, including active practicing, retired, and
resident physicians. We are a diverse group, representing academic
medicine, group and solo practice, and urban and rural practice
settings.
The
society is a vigorous and committed organization, involved in
educational activities, issues related to the professional
practice of orthopaedic surgery, and interaction with other state
and national medical groups. We hold one educational meeting each
year. The society has representation on its Board of Directors for
state legislative affairs to monitor and provide in-put into
legislative and regulatory activities related to the practice of
